Musician In The Making

Gabriella jamming out at Best Buy this morning. She had everyone, passing by, stop and watch her and comment on how cute she looked. She took it all very serious. When she was done with the drums she walked over to where a guy was playing a guitar and tried strumming a guitar that was standing next to him.

I am totally obsessed with Groupon at the moment. For those of you that don't know what Groupon is, it is a daily email coupon service. The coupons are specific to your area and are discounted at least 50%.

Though I have only purchased one thing, it was a great deal. I bought 5 yoga classes for $20. I cannot wait to take my first class next week. It is "hot" yoga, so we will see how I do.

Oh yeah, and Gabriella and I have been doing Mommy and Me yoga at our play group on Wednesday. She is so funny. She tries each pose and is pretty good at holding some of them. It is pretty basic stuff, but she is really enjoying it. I will try to get some photos of her in some of the poses that she has learned.

This site is a lot like Groupon. Sign up for your city and it sends you an email for that days deal. We use Groupon a lot and just heard of this site. It seems to have good deals also. The link below is an invite, to the site, that is linked to my account.

New Years Eve

Beau and I went out with some friends for New Years Eve, so Dawn watched Gabriella for us. She took Gabriella to a friends party and they had a wonderful time.

Lowry Park Zoo

Over the holiday's we took Gabriella to Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. Daphne, Jamie, and Dawn all joined us. It was a lot of fun. We went through all the exhibits and Gabriella made the animal noises for each animal. Next time we will have to check out Bush Gardens.

Checking out the bald eagle exhibit. These bald eagles have been hurt and cannot be released back into the wild, so they just hang out in the tree.

Gabriella really like watching the manatees swim by the glass.

I took Gabriella into a wind tunnel. She loved it!!! It says that it had wind speed of 78 mph, but I don't think it went that fast.

Gabriella really liked this exhibit. She walked around and clapped her hands at the birds calling out, "here birdie birdie"

They supply a stick with bird seed so that the birds swarm your hands. I tried to get Gabriella to hold it, but she wasn't very keen on the idea. However she did like that they all swarmed my hand.

Christmas

We spent this Christmas in Clearwater with Beau's family. On Christmas Eve Beau was up all night with a violent case of the stomach flu or food poisoning. We are still not sure which it was, but he was sick all night and the next morning he was in bed all day.

Gabriella also had an eventful Christmas. Grandma Pam and Grandpa Tom sent her a Power Wheels Barbie VW Beetle. She loved the car.

Daphne ran along side of her with a cane to push the pedal and Jamie ran along the other side moving the steering wheel. It took a few rides for Gabriella to catch on to using the pedal. We are still working on the steering wheel.
