UF Homecoming Parade 2012

Today the girls and I headed to campus and enjoyed the UF Homecoming Parade, with some of our good friends. The kids thought that all the excitement was great! It was a beautiful sunny Fall day in Gainesville.
Waiting for the parade to start
Katherine looking super cute.

The girls got really excited when the cheerleaders came by on the fire trucks

Even Lilliana enjoyed the parade. As always, she was a trooper.

A little Gator Chomp from Katherine

Here is what else we have been up to:

Lilliana has been army crawling for a month or so, but we finally got the hang of hands and knees crawling. In the same instant she started to pull herself up standing. Gabriella is a great motivator. She sits and cheers Lilliana on all the time.

Pumpkin Patch

What do you do with kids on a beautiful Fall day? Go to the pumpkin patch of course.

Lilliana's friends

As good as it was going to get for today. Neither child would cooperate at the same time.

When she first stood at the pumpkin she wasn't quite sure of the  pumpkin stem

Gabriella rolling pumpkins through the patch
A little tougher than it looked
Katherine following suit with her mini pumpkin
On to the next one. This one may take a little teamwork

Funny face time

Lilliana and Emma were not happy to be put down with the group to take a photo
