4th Birthday Pirate Party

April 13th:

We can't even believe that Gabriella is 4 years old. The time has gone by way too quick, but we look forward to many more birthdays!

She insisted on a Pirate Themed party this year so I did my best to make it as fun as possible for her.

In the end we had about 15 kids running around with swords, eye patches, and covered in tattoos. The kids and Gabriella had a blast. Gabriella is already talking about her next birthday party!

Out Little Soccer Star

April 13th:

Gabriella finally had her first soccer game last weekend. We missed the first game because she was sick with a stomach bug, so she was really pumped for this game. What made it better was that it was her birthday and so Daniella, her boyfriend Kim, and Dawn were in town and got a chance to see her play.

This weeks game was rained out so we have a little more time to practice some defense.

beautiful day for some strawberry picking

Today we ventured out, with some friends, to enjoy this beautiful weather. Our plan was to go strawberry picking last week while all the kids were on spring break, but alas a really COLD cold front came through and so we had to reschedule. 

Thank goodness that we did! Today was a gorgeous spring day and the strawberries we ready to be picked. The kids and I brought home to buckets full of sweet juicy berries. Lilliana is on a veggie strike at the moment and prefers to eat fruit, strawberries being her favorite. Hopefully she'll get her fill and get sick of them and start eating veggies again. One can dream can't they? :)
