Papa-A Comes For A Visit

Last week we had the pleasure of having my dad come up for a visit. Gabriella had a fabulous time with my dad. We are planning a trip to Nicaragua in November and Gabriella cannot stop talking about it.

Another fun part about having him visit is that with his help I finally got to finish up some projects that I have been wanting to tackle. In one week we got done what has been sitting unfinished for months:

He and Beau finished painting the staircase walls, touched up paint throughout the house, we built a picture rail to go over the TV, we hung a new mirror that I got for my birthday, and I was able to finish painting a little bedside table for the girls' room. I'm sure that there is more but off the top of my head I cannot think of them.

Sweet Little Angel
Everyday since he left she has asked when we are going to see Papa-A again. All I can say to her is "I hope real soon."

Pancake Mix!!! Beau and I thought that Gabriella was being too quiet downstairs so he went and checked on her. What a mess we found...

I was pretty grossed out that she was licking up the pancake mix from the kitchen mat. All we could do was laugh though :)

1 Month Old and A Slew of Visitors

This past Saturday marked one month since Lilliana was born. It is impossible to think that a month has already gone by. Where does the time go? I'd like to find a way to slow it down, a lot. Gabriella has grown up just before my eyes and Lilliana is getting bigger each day.

It seems that Gabriella has gone from our little girl to a little lady. I can't believe some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth. What a sassy little thing!!! She has been such a great big sister. I am in awe of how easily she has adapted to being the "Big Sister" and how loving she is toward Lilliana.

Gabriella "feeding" Lilliana from her wrist. Lilliana suckled on Gabriella's wrist the other day and now Gabriella thinks it funny to "feed" Lilliana every chance she gets.

Visitors

In the past month we have had a slew of family and friends come and visit. First we had my family then Beau's family came up the following weekend. It has been so nice to see everyone.

Larry came up this past Sunday for an afternoon visit

I just wanted to share these two photos. The bottom one was the one that I used for the birth announcement. Lilliana was 1 week old when I took these.
