Gabriella thoroughly enjoyed her first Thanksgiving. I made indian head dresses for the kids and Gabriella wore hers for almost the entire dinner. Each of the kids was given an indian name; Gabriella was "Hawka Loogey". Nevan was "Bunny Tooth", and Luke was "Chief Osceola." Luke's name was a joke as his father is a huge Gator fan.
Beau and I hosted our first Thanksgiving Day. We shared an amazing afternoon with friends and family. Grammy and Daniella each drove in for the festivities. Our wonderful friends and neighbors, Jeanne, Patrick, Luke, and Nevan
Moran came over with some excellent additions to the dinner table. Their friend Deborah also joined us and brought with her the most beautiful ginger flowers for the table.
I was so excited to finally have the opportunity to use all the wonderful gifts that we received for our wedding. This was also my first time attempting to cook a
turkey (Grammy was an excellent coach). We had a great dinner with excellent company. Here are a few photos of our day.
