A few weekends ago we enjoyed a nice afternoon at the UF Butterfly Rainforest. They had a butterfly release scheduled and we thought it would be a fun outing. Since the weather was so warm the butterflies were really active. Gabriella loved when the butterflies would land on her. It took everything she had to stand still and not touch them.
The butterfly release was neat. The released about 15 different butterfly species, for their first flight, and explained a little bit about each one. It was a nice afternoon and now every time that we are out and see a butterfly she asks if it can land on her.

| A little freaked out when it moved a bit |

| Waiting patiently for a butterfly to land on her |
 |
| Finally had a butterfly land on her wrist |
 |
| Moved over to her hand |

| Upset that it was time to go because the museum was closing |
